The Health and Safety Executive recently inspected more than twenty construction sites in an effort to highlight problems in the construction sector. Nearly half the sites failed their spot checks with nine sites beiong the subject of Enforcement Action and Six being served Prohibition Notices. Six sites were given Improvement Notices and one site was shut down completely.
